Know exactly where you'll stand.

Say what comes in and what goes out. MoneyPlan works out where your money lands — not just this month, but for the next five years.

No bank connection. No forms to fill in. Just tell it, in your own words.

Open MoneyPlan → Free to try. No card needed to start.

Budgeting apps tell you what you spent. That's the easy part.

You already know last month was expensive. What you actually want to know is whether the car insurance, the holiday and the annual subscription that all land in March are going to leave you short — and if so, by how much, and on which day.

That's a question about the future, and almost nothing answers it. Apps that connect to your bank are very good at categorising the past and close to useless at the thing that keeps people awake. MoneyPlan is built the other way round: you tell it what you know is coming, and it projects forward, day by day, for sixty months.

How it works

  1. Say what comes in

Your salary, the date it arrives, anything else that lands regularly. Type it or say it out loud — "I get paid £2,400 on the 28th" is enough.

  2. Say what goes out

Rent, bills, subscriptions, the annual ones people forget. Weekly, monthly, every three months, once a year on a particular date — however it actually happens, rather than however a form wants it.

  3. See the whole picture

A running balance for every day between now and five years from now. The dips show up before you reach them, with enough notice to do something about them.

What you can do with it

See a shortfall coming

The forecast shows the day your balance dips below zero, weeks or months before it happens — while you can still move something.

Track what you owe

Cards, loans, car finance and student loans, with the real date you'll be clear of each one. Add a debt by uploading a statement and the balance, rate and payment are read off it.

Ask it a question

"Can I afford a £600 holiday in April?" gets a real answer, worked out against your actual forecast rather than a rule of thumb.

Plan what you're saving for

Set a target and a date, and see whether the money genuinely gets there — and what it costs the rest of the picture.

Share with a partner

Household money is rarely one person's problem. Invite someone and you both see the same forecast.

Take your data with you

Everything exports to spreadsheet-ready files whenever you want it. No lock-in, and nothing held hostage.

Your bank stays out of it

MoneyPlan never connects to your bank account. There is no open banking link, no credentials to hand over, and no read access to your transactions. You tell it what you earn and what you pay, which is information you already have.

That's a deliberate trade. It means a little typing at the start, and in return your bank login is never involved, there's no third-party aggregator holding your transaction history, and the app works the same whoever you bank with — including accounts that open banking doesn't reach.

On statements and documents: if you upload a statement to add a debt, the text is read on your own device and only that text is sent to be interpreted, with card and account numbers stripped out first. The document itself is never stored anywhere.

Who makes it

MoneyPlan is built and operated by GETGROWTH LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. We're a small team, and the app is our own product rather than a white-label of anyone else's.

If you have a question, a problem, or something you think the app has got wrong, write to hello@trymoneyplan.com and a person will read it.
